2024 September
The First Meeting
OCTAKING started at Guitar Summit in Germany. Aryan helped Alexey get his personal version of Ole Red signed by Jared, which became the spark of their first real conversation. That small moment turned into a few nights out, beers, and long, easy talks and lots of laughter. What began as help between strangers quickly felt like a genuine connection.
2024 October
A Deeper Connection
After returning home, Alexey texted Aryan saying the meeting at Summit felt deeper than just beers and a favor. He felt there was something more behind it and wanted to understand why they crossed paths. Alexey flew to Spain, and they spent a full week together. Talking, playing, and trying to dig into the real purpose of that first meeting.
2025 February - September
Taking Shape
During a regular text conversation, a joke turned into a name. “King” from Aryan King and “Octa” from Alexey’s 8Bomb. OCTAKING was born almost accidentally. Soon after, the conversations became more serious. They started talking about building something together, with no shortcuts and no compromises. An engineer joined, and the first prototypes—made only for themselves—were shown at Guitar Summit 2025. Every unit sold out within two days. Despite the success, it became clear the vision was not fully aligned. The engineer stepped away, and OCTAKING moved forward without compromise.
2025 October - December
The Right Engineer
Everything changed when they met the right engineer. His background covered pedals, amps, guitars, and advanced electronics. He understood both music and precision engineering. With the team complete, work began on the first OCTAKING pedals, including the PAF Simulator and Desert Drive. The focus was simple: great tone, built the right way. Vintage feel, modern reliability—and sounds that had never existed before. This is where OCTAKING truly began.
